Wanda Denise Turner-Foster was born April 30, 1959 in San Diego, California to the late John C. and Helen Turner. She attended Logan Elementary, Memorial Jr. High and Lincoln High School.
Wanda loved being a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. She enjoyed cooking, being around family, being on the phone late at night with her nieces, shopping at Walmart and relaxing at the Casino.
Wanda was called home to be with our Lord on her father’s birthday, January 23, 2020. She is preceded by her parents and her siblings, Jerry, John, Helen “Noupe”, Mildred and Bruce.
Wanda is survived by her children, Kenya and David and his loving wife, Katie; grandchildren, Murrel, Kenterah, Aliya, Kenyerah, Arabella and Angel; sisters, Betty and Cathy (Lybroan) her brother, David; nieces, Roxanne, Tamara, Kisha, Maisha, Shaunte, Shawanda and Joshlyn; nephews, Glenn and John; 18 great nieces and nephews; 6 great- great nieces and nephews; special friends, Sheila B., Amanda and Linda; casino partners, Sheila, Bridget and Reesee; her other daughter, Machelle “The Stalker”.
All the praises is due to Allah the creator of the world's. I thank you God for giving me such a wonderful Mother. I pray and I ask you Lord, if there's any good deeds that I have obtained in this life, that you would give them to my Mother., the one who bore me and nourished me. I thank you for creating the best Woman in my world. My Mother!! Truly my bestfriend!! My Mother, O knower of all things, has been with me throughout lifes journey, and has not failed me once. She loved me lord and never let me down. I understand lord the process of life and death, and im very grateful that My Mother had a peaceful death. Thank you lord. She was a strong Woman, and did it on her own with the strength you provided her. She was loved by lots of people by her efforts towards helping others and also possesing a beautiful warm smile. Lord I will forever miss my Mother until you reunite us together.
