Troy Rogers Obituary

Troy Allen Rogers was born to Roy and Joanne Rogers in La Mesa California on June 2, 1975. He attended Granite Hills High School and made many treasured and lifelong friends.

Troy Started in the family stucco business with his father when he was a teenager, and quickly became a very skilled stucco man. He was very well known within the industry due to his talent, work ethic and dependability. While he was a man of few words, his skill in stuccoing spoke for itself and alongside his father, they grew the business into a successful, thriving one. Eventually, Troy ventured out on his own and continued his quality stucco work, always making sure he got the job done when he promised.

In 1996, Troy married Tammy and gained a bonus daughter, Taylor. Together Troy and Tammy had two children, Torie and Trevore and raised their family in Lakeside. He enjoyed taking the family out on the boat to the river or the lake and riding dirt bikes at the desert. Family was the most important thing to Troy, and he made sure his family was taken care of above all else. Troy was a very dedicated and hard-working father and taught his children all they know about dirt bikes, boating and hard work! Troy became a proud grandpa on November 10, 2023, and was so excited to spoil his granddaughter,

Troy was a man of few words, but his presence was felt by everyone he encountered. Where he didn't have words, his actions showed his kind heart and he was always willing the help a friend, acquaintance, or family member who needed it. He found friendship in all he encountered and was loved by all who knew him. Many said he was one of the kindest people they knew, and always brought a sense of calm and zero judgment to all his interactions. His deep belly laugh was contagious, and he could easily have a whole room laughing just because he was.

Troy spent his final moments surrounded by family and went peacefully to be with the Lord on March 26, 2024. His loss will be felt deeply by all who loved him and he will be forever missed. He is survived by his parents, Roy and Joanne, daughters Taylor and Torie, son Trevor, granddaughter Rylee, siblings Stephani and Misty and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
