Terry Andrae Hill

Terry Andre Hill was born a healthy, happy baby boy on December 29, 1968, to his parents Charles
Edward Hill (father) and Cinda Mae Hill (mother) in San Diego, California at Balboa Naval Hospital. Terry
was the middle child of five siblings.
Terry had an infectious smile and playful spirit. As a child, he loved playing arcade games, riding his bike,
and hanging out with friends. As a teenager, he was very athletic and played both football and basketball.
Being the middle child, he displayed certain characteristics of the “middle child syndrome.” Terry was
outspoken, rebellious, mischievous and often times went to the extreme in order to get attention from his
parents and family members. He wore his emotions on his sleeve but had a big heart for those he loved
and cared about and saw himself as the family protector.
Terry attended several schools in the San Diego School District. He went to Freese Elementary School,
Bell Junior High School, University City High School and Morse High School. He eventually earned his
GED in August of 1991. He worked for various companies over the years as a laborer.
On August 17, 2025, at the age of 56, Terry received his wings and went to be with the Lord. He is
preceded in death by his devoted and loving mother, Cinda Mae Hill. His daughter Lanisha Hill, paternal
and maternal grandparents, several aunts and uncles. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving father
Charles Edward Hill; his children, Terrisha Hill and Andre Hill; sisters Shurlette Hill-Burch, Delonda
Peppers (Michael) and Sara Walstrum (Joshua); and brothers Winslow Hill, Dewayne Hill (Maribel) and
David Hill; seven grandchildren, Lyric Few, Melody Willis, Lanice Hill, LeAndre Hill, Akiel Hill, Anaysha Hill
and Elijah Hill; nieces, Shurkenda Burch-Ghosn (Daniel), Shamia Ramsey (Edward), Mercedes Hill, Naiila
Calloway (Jonathan), Anaya Hill, Amara Hill and Cinda Hill; nephew, DeAndre Hill and a host relatives and
friends.
