Teresa - Solano Espinoza

With deep love and remembrance, we announce the passing of Teresa Solano Espinoza, who left us on December 7th, 2024, at the age of 91. Born on October 15, 1933, in Sinaloa, Mexico, Teresa lived a long life filled with love, resilience, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. She was a hard-working, dedicated single mother, a fantastic grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was the heart of our family. To know her was to love her; her generosity, love for life, and laughter touched all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Teresa had many lifelong friendships that have continued for generations after her. She was independent and strong and loved the beach, her trips to the casino, coffee, and pan dulce. She is survived by four of her children, Miguel Angel, Sandra, Carlos Rene, and Arturo; eight grandchildren, Berenice, Luis Alberto, Michelle, Miguel Antonio, Teresita, Rodrigo, Carlos, and Paloma; and nineteen great-grandchildren and a circle of extended family and cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her dear son, Baltazar, and grandson, Baltazar III.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, between 1 and 5 p.m. at 1319 Tobias Drive, Chula Vista, CA.

The family welcomes all who wish to gather and celebrate Teresa's beautiful life. Teresa’s ashes and final resting place will be as she wanted, in the Sea of Cortez in Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), where she spent her formative years as a child.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts and memories of all who loved her. Our beloved matriarch will be deeply missed, but her love, smile, spirit, and funny stories will remain with us always.

Con profundo amor y recuerdo, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Teresa Solano Espinoza, quien nos dejó el 7 de diciembre de 2024 a la edad de 91 años. Nacida el 15 de octubre de 1933 en Sinaloa, México, Teresa vivió una larga vida llena de amor, resistencia, bondad y dedicación a su familia y amistades. Era una madre soltera trabajadora y dedicada, una abuela y bisabuela increíble, y era el corazón de nuestra familia.  Conocerla era amarla, su generosidad, amor por la vida y su risa conmovieron a todos los que la conocieron.

Atreves de su vida, Teresa tuvo muchas amistades de toda la vida que han continuado durante generaciones después de ella. Era independiente y fuerte, le encantaba la playa, sus viajes al casino, el café y el pan dulce.

Le sobreviven cuatro de sus hijos, Miguel Ángel, Sandra, Carlos René y Arturo; ocho nietos, Berenice, Luis Alberto, Michelle, Miguel Antonio, Teresita, Rodrigo, Carlos y Paloma; y diez y nueve bisnietos y un círculo de familiares y amigos queridos. Le precedieron en la muerte su querido hijo, Baltazar, y su nieto, Baltazar III.

Su legado seguirá vivo en los corazones y recuerdos de todos los que la amaron. Una Celebración de Vida se llevará a cabo el sábado 14 de diciembre de 2024, entre las 12 y las 5 p.m. en 1319 Tobias Drive, Chula Vista, CA.

La familia da la bienvenida a los que deseen reunirse y celebrar la bella larga vida de Tere. El lugar de descanso final de las cenizas de Tere será a sus deseos en el Mar de Cortés en Puerto Peñasco, donde pasó sus años de formación cuando era niña.

Echaremos mucho de menos a nuestra matriarca Teresa, pero su amor, su espíritu, su risa y sus divertidas historias nos acompañarán siempre.
