RUDOLPH (Rudy) PHILLIP PACHECO was born in Colorado Springs, CO on 12/27/50 and entered into rest on 4/6/25 in San Diego, CA. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lorraine Pacheco; brothers: Rick Pacheco, and Lino Pacheco, Felix Padia, Tito Padilla, and sisters: Deann Lopez, Lisa Turningrobe Pacheco, Georgia Belo, Diane Kraft, Bea Marquez, Rhonda Padia and Connie Padilla.
He is also survived by nephews: Glen Belo, Eddie Belo (God son), Damien Quinonez, Phillip Padia, Tito Paul Padilla III, Art Marquez, and John Marquez - and nieces: Kristin Belo, Michelle Pacheco, Carrie Pacheco, Chantal Marquez, Natalie Padia, Abriana Kannely and Angelica Shafer.
Rudy’s passion for Art took him through the Rocky Mountain School of Art in Denver, Colorado, evolving as a graphic designer entrepreneur to working in Hollywood for Fox Television, PBS, and Entertainment Tonight. He was very honored to sit on the Board of Directors for the Guild of Artists and Scenic Design (IATSI) in Hollywood.
His favorite hobbies were playing guitar, fishing in Colorado, metal detecting in California, and listening to Bible Pastors and teachers on the radio.
He first accepted Christ while in an orphanage in Denver as a child at the age of 3-6 yrs old when he decided the Lord would be his Father since he didn’t have one in the orphanage. As a young man, he began the many years, continuing to the present, of walking Through the Bible with Dr. Vernon McGee and listening to the Bible teachings of Dr. David Jeremiah and more recently, Jack Hibbs. He loved his radio Bible time and for many years listened the same broadcasts while driving to work in the morning, eating lunch at noon day and while driving home in the evening.
One of his favorite sayings was: Never live on should haves and could haves.
Rudy is a California Veteran (1969-1971) where he enlisted in the army, and survived a rocket fire attack while serving in Vietnam.
