It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Romeo “Romy” Brigino Aguirre, who passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at the age of 82 in San Diego, CA.

Romy was born on September 20, 1942, in Bulacan, Philippines, to the late Urbana and Flaviano Aguirre. He served in the U.S. Navy, where he proudly dedicated his time to serving his country.

Romy married Genelyn Aguirre and was a loving husband. He is also survived by his children: Rosemarie, Anthony, Jason, Rocher, Oliver, Marvin, Carlo, and AJ.

Romy was a stern and disciplined man who believed in actions over words. His commitment to helping others, especially his family, was unmatched. He was instrumental in ensuring that many of his relatives continued their education, paying for their school and helping them finish college. He had a love for karaoke, dancing, and socializing with family and friends.

Romy will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His unwavering support, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and loved.

Funeral Service Details:

The funeral service will be held at California Cremation and Burial on March 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 2200 Highland Avenue, National City, CA 91950.
