Robert F. Marsh

Robert “Bob” Francis Marsh was born to Harris and Rose Marsh on 1/10/1933 in Springfield, Massachusetts, one of six children. He served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1984 as Infantry, Artillery, Personnel and finally Legal Administration. His service took him to Korea, Germany, Vietnam and several of the United States. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. In the service, he met and married the love of his life Maria Rosina Englert to whom he was married for 67 wonderful and adventurous years. They had two sons together, Mark and Michael. Bob earned his degree in Legal Administration from Monterrey Peninsula College. He worked in the Department of Justice Federal Court of San Diego from 1984 until his retirement in 1999. He was an avid sports fan. He followed the Boston Red Sox and was a big fan of Tom Brady. He was known for his gentle, stalwart nature and his sense of humor. Bob passed away on 6/21/2022 at the age of 89 in San Diego, California. He is survived by his wife Maria, sons Mark (Karen) and Michael (Kay), grandchildren Jimmy (Danielle), Aaron, Hollie (Andrew,) Chris (Michelle,) Marie (Matthew) and great-grandchildren Nayela, Demi, Logan, Wrenn and Elijah. He will be greatly missed.
