Resheed Enoch Smith was born on August 12, 1991, in
Vilseck, Germany, to Milton Smith and Marsha Glover
Smith. He was the youngest of five boys.
On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 1:34 a.m., Resheed peacefully
departed this life.
Resheed was a kindhearted and caring young man who
never hesitated to help those in need, especially God’s little
ones. He valued the simple joys of life, often finding
meaning in the little things that others might overlook. One
of his greatest pleasures was enjoying a meal of spaghetti,
which he considered “the best.”
Resheed was dedicated and hardworking, holding several
jobs throughout his life. He most recently served as a Park
Ranger for the County of San Diego, where he worked
faithfully for 14 years.
At the age of five, Resheed became a member of Mission
Church of God in Christ. He was active in the Sunshine
Band and loved singing in the church, along with
participating in many other activities that deepened his
faith and service.
Resheed leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents,
Milton and Marsha; four brothers, Lamien DeRoss (Lee),
Antwone LaShawn Glover (Rocky), Milton Smith Jr. (Bam),
and Chrioni Elijah Smith (Shawn); two nieces, Taiyana
Kayla Lashe Glover and Myia Glover; and one nephew,
Antwone LaShawn Glover Jr., along with a host of extended
family and friends who will forever hold him close in their
hearts. He also leaves behind two amazing pitbulls Blue
and Hercules that he loved so deeply.
Though his time with us was far too short, Resheed’s love,
kindness, and gentle spirit will live on in the lives of all who
knew him.
