Ramon Garcia Tamayo, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was born in National City, California on February 18, 1959, to Martin Montenegro Tamayo and Maria Guadalupe Alvarez. He was the fourth child of 8, his older siblings include Martin Jr, Johnny, Pete, and his younger siblings George, Norma, Berta and beloved brother Mario.
He attended John J Montgomery Elementary as a child and Castle Park Middle School as a teen. He played Baseball both in and out of school.
On May 10, 1982, Ramon married Yvonne Moreno. Together they had five children, Yvonne (Bibi), Melissa, Ramon Jr., Guadalupe (Pita) and Karina.
Ramon was a family man; he loved his family very much and enjoyed traveling with his children. He liked fishing, camping as well as riding his motorcycle and listening to oldies. He worked as a plumber for several years. He accepted Christ early in his life, loved attending church with his children and reading his bible.
Ramon relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 2003. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren, Anaya (Yaya), Layla (Lala), Jayden, Zirenity (Zini), Roberto Jr. (Robbie), Elija, Joel, Cattaleya (Leya), Gabriela (Gaby), Ezra, Caleb, Nehemiah (Miah), Rocio (Rosey), Ramon III (Chunky), Adalina (Rayne) and Guillermo III (GMo).
His legacy includes 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 6 siblings, his mother, and extended family who consisted of aunts, uncles and cousins who will forever cherish his memory.
