Nicole Jones

Our beloved Nicole was born on the beautiful day of Feb 8th, 1985 in San Diego, Ca to Wanda Lockett and Bob Jones. She was a graduate of San Diego High School, Class of 2003. After graduation, she joined union with her high school sweetheart Miguel Ornelas II. They started their family with an amazing set of 3 children. Zenia Ornelas (16), Miguel Ornelas III (14) and Nicole Ornelas (12). During her journeys she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. She lived with this condition over several years and yet managed to live a full life throughout. Nicole succumbed to complications from congestive heart failure, in which she was called home on March 23, 2021. She leaves behind a legacy like no other and she lived her life to the full. She was the life of the party and would joke and even dance at any given time. We will miss her dearly. We oftentimes wondered how she managed but no matter how deep the scars, she was always pulling through with a will to live. smiling her way through the pain.

Nicole is survived by her children Zenia, Miguel & Nicole (CA), Parents Wanda Lockett (CA) & Bob Jones (CA), Grandfather Herman Lockett (CA), Uncle John W Lockett (CA), Aunt Tracy Wilford (LA) , Uncle Stan & Anthony Jones (CA) , Siblings Amanda Payne , Johnny Wilford , Willie Sheppard (SC), Homer Reed III, Brittney & Benay Jones (CA) Niece, Emani Sheppard (SC) . She Also leaves a host of family and friends to mourn her home going.
