Mia Todd-Paige Obituary

Mia Janell Todd-Paige was relieved of her earthly duties on January 28, 2020 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 54.

Mia was born to Larry Todd and the late Betty Jean Todd on July 24, 1965 in Springfield, MA. She was immersed in a loving family environment, which prompted the move to San Diego, CA in 1967. Mia spent her childhood and early adulthood in San Diego, CA.

Mia attended Helix High School and was extremely proud of her accomplishment of graduating high school early in December 1982, ahead of her graduating class 1983 in order to begin taking classes at Grossmont College.

Mia began working soon after she had graduated from high school and proved to be a diligent hard working employee always finding joy in her work. Whether it was International Male, HSN, the US Post Office, CTS Telcom, Pacific Bell or ATT. Once Mia’s career path led her to the telecommunications industry, she held various positions including 411 operator and Communications Consultant being her last position. Mia was a dedicated and loyal employee to AT&T and it's family of companies for over 25 years.

Mia was blessed with her first child, Mikell Elton Todd in 1988; to her only daughter Chassidy Diane Paige in 1994; and her youngest son William D Paige Jr in 1995. In 1996, Mia and William Paige Sr married in San Diego, CA. Shortly after their union, Mia, William and the children moved to Fort Worth, TX.

During her tenure with AT&T, Mia’s job moved her family to San Antonio, TX in 2006, where she remained until 2011. Her position then moved her to Kansas City, MO in 2011 where she remained until 2018, when she was sent to St. Louis, MO very briefly. In 2018, her position returned her to San Antonio, TX where she remained until she passed.

Mia was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile and her kind compassionate spirit. Mia was always smiling and wanted others to share in her smile. She adored her family and would never pass on a moment to spend time with them. Mia loved to sing from a young age and was known for playing her favorite songs on repeat. Traveling was one of Mia’s past times, having visited her favorite country Jamaica several times.

Mia was proceeded in death by her mother Betty Jean Todd. She is survived by her sons Mikell Todd and William Paige Jr; daughter Chassidy Paige; father and step mother Larry Todd Sr and Karen Todd; sister Paris Wilmore; brothers Maurice Todd and Larry Wendell Todd Jr; step sister Dela Lockett, the apple of her eye, her grandson Jaxson and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins she adored.
