Markisha Price

Markisha Price passed from this life on Wednesday April 24, 2019. Markisha was born on February 8, 1976 at Paradise Valley Hospital. She was the second child born to Formosa Francine Jackson and Martin Patterson Jr. Markisha attended Bierney Elementary School from there she went on to attend Roosevelt Jr. High school. After Jr. High School Markisha graduated from San Diego High School. Not long after graduation Markisha decided to further her education and begin her studies at San Diego State where she received her bachelors in art. But it didn’t stop there she then attended UTI for nursing. Markisha was also employed at Polinsky Children’s Center for seven years. Markisha found Jesus at a early age she attended Antioch Church of God and Christ on Sundays and she also attended Open Door Family Worship Center on Saturdays. Markisha was wedded in Holy Matrimony to Charles Price and to this union they were blessed with a daughter Jazmine Price. After the marriage she was blessed with two more children Deonjenae “DeDe” Patterson and Dareon”Prince” Patterson Markisha loved to cook and draw and she also loved basketball. She loved being with her children and family. Markisha had a big heart she was very loving and giving.

Markisha was proceeded in death by her Grandmother Lula Carter and her sister Marlena Kerr. She is survived by her three Children Jazmine Price, Deonjenae Patterson and her son Dareon Patterson all of San Diego, Ca. She is also survived by her mother Formosa Francine Jackson her stepfather Johnny Gandy of San Diego, CA. Her sister Fatisha Gandy and brother Johnny Gandy jr. and Cordell Gandy and her favorite cousin Kim Collins of San Diego, CA. and  host of Nieces and Nephews and friends.
