Marilyn Yvonne Jarvis was born in Jacksonville Florida on July 10, 1940. She was the first born of Clara Mae Howard. Marilyn was known as (Granny) to all that loved her near and far. Marilyn attended Coronado High School and graduated from Lincoln High School in the year of 1958, (Go Hornets).
Marilyn married Charles Percy Jarvis December 1, 1962, and was still united until her passing. They resided in Emerald Hills where they made themselves a home. Marilyn worked for San Diego City Schools until her retirement; after she retired BINGO was her fun time; and met many of her Bingo friends.
Marilyn had 5 children, Marian Lavonne Jones, Cheryl Marie James, Daryl Bernard Howard, Artrini Nichelle Walters, Martine Lenee Jarvis’Adams.
Marilyn’s surviving family her husband Charles P. Jarvis, her mother Clara M. Howard, her siblings Gayle Watkins and Linda Howard King, Earl Howard Jr. Marsheila Hayes. Preceding family Earl Howard Sr.
Marilyn had a host of Grandchildren: Kelesio Sr, Allen II., Fabian Jr.; Daryle, Jarvis, Shabazz Ali; Terence; Walter IV., William, Naomi; Mikki, Nikki, Boss, Cedric; Great grand: Kelesio Jr., Annalysia, Elijah, Kelze, Kelique, Kelarah; Syorei, Amirah, Aryle; Silas, Hazel, Jaycee; Allen Jr.; Dannah; and Ayvah; Audryna and Abraham; GreatGreat Grandson: Kaison. She was Aunt to Larre’, Montrielle, and Do’Vaughna. Extended family: Larry Hayes, Tangi Tate, Unique Barnett, Jenesha Howard, DeMuriel King, Kazumi Hosokawa (Howard), Bridget Howard, Robert Adams, Abby Monger and Q Gearings.
