Ma Xiong

Ma Xiong was born on May 10, 1913 in Xiangkhouang, Laos. She immigrated to the United States with her son, Ge and his family in 1979. Known as “Pog”, she had a hand in raising her 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She had a big heart, infectious laughter and a warm smile that made everyone feel welcomed. Her hobbies include sewing, raising chickens, watching her favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives, action movies and best of all, wrestling.

She will be forever loved and truly missed. She loved so hard that her passing has left a void that’s hard to fill. Although she is no longer with us, her memory lives in all of us. It is one of the hardest things to let you go but it is with ease that we will see each other again. We love you so much, Grandma. Rest in peace.
