Lloyd Sherman Howard was the first child born to Sandra Joyce Howard McGee and Lloyd Eugene Shannon on April 1, 1956 in Kansas City Kansas. He excepted Christ into his life at an early age. Lloyd attended Poly High School in Long Beach California and excelled in academics. Lloyd united with Barbara Ann Pastor and fathered four children out of this union, LaTonya Howard, Lloyd Howard II, Brian Johnson and Jerome Howard.
During the course of his life Lloyd united with Kim Strictler who blessed him with three children, April Howard, Jermaine Howard, and Dale Howard. Lloyds union with Rita Baca
also blessed him with a son Wille Peterson { affectionally known as "Red"}
Lloyd found great pleasure and joy in helping people, problem solving, entrepreneurship and bringing the family and close friends together for family picnics and would facilitate the health and well being of anyone he encountered. Lloyd definitely had a heart of gold and will always be in our hearts and minds.On Friday June 17, 2022 Lloyd was called home and greeted at the the gates by his parents Sandra McGee and Lloyd Shannon, his grandparents Elizabeth Elbert (affectionately called "Momma"). and William Howard Sr. (affectionately called "Daddy"), three of Lloyds siblings proceeded him in his home coming' Lennis Delores McGee Singleton, Allen McGee Jr. and Craig Steven McGee. His loving step father Allen McGee Sr., his nephew Rondale Deshawn Samples, his son Jerome Howard, grandson Dale Sheray Howard ll and his grand nephew Avyeontay Cortez McGee.
Lloyd leaves behind his loving wife, best friend, care giver and confidant Ms. Irene Epling. Eight siblings, Walter Lee Howard, Phyllis Brunson, Walter Shannon, Wanda McGee, Glenn McGee, Anthony Cortez McGee, Marilyn McGee and Johnny McGee. Five sons Lloyd Howard Jr., Jermaine Howard, Dale Howard, Brian Johnson and Willie Peterson, ". Two beautiful daughters LaTonya Howard and April Howard. His beloved Aunt Betty who guided and facilitated his journey in life as the matriarch of the family. 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Uncles and Aunts, nieces and nephews, close friends William Fox, Dwight Batts, and Lannell wharton , just to acknowledge a few, Tiffany Haren whose unique sence of humor and personality Lloyd embraced wholeheartedly and genuinly grew fond of. Lloyd was known for his upbeat, yet stern and authorative attitude and personality frequently using one of his many signature phrases to comfort, console, motivate and inspire others, It'll Be Aight .
