Obituary

Kenneth Earl Banks was the second eldest son born to Kevin and Juvene Banks on June 5, 1989. Kenneth was raised in San Diego, California by his loving grandparents Johnnie Ruth and Robert Banks. It was during those memorable years that Kenneth would share some of his fondest childhood moments with his little sisters Kendra and Kyandra. Kenneth received his high school diploma from the renowned San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) where his love for the arts blossomed.

Kenneth would go on to work for the Arc of San Diego, where he maintained employment for over a decade before his untimely passing. Kenneth took great pride in his career and made many long lasting friendships through his work endeavors.

Always a devout Christian, Kenneth was a dedicated member of Encanto Southern Baptist Church where he served faithfully for years. During his adolescence, Kenneth was an active member of the church serving in the youth choir and taking part in the youth ministry.

To know Kenneth was to love him. Kenneth was a beautiful person and exuded positivity regardless of what he received. Kenneth was a very kind and gentle soul who never spoke ill of anyone and always had the best intentions in his heart. He was such a loving, kind and innocent person. Kenneth had a love for all things good for the soul. He shared a special affinity for Oprah with his loving grandmother Johnnie Ruth. Kenneth loved music tremendously, especially Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. Kenneth also had an admiration for classical dance and all forms of entertainment that he shared with those closest to him by sending videos of his favorite social media personalities to those he loved.

Kenneth was proceeded in death by his grandparents Johnnie Ruth and Robert Banks, Mother Juvene Banks, Twin Sister (who passed at birth) Karen Banks, great-grandfather John Weatherby, Uncle Michael Banks, Aunts Brenda Banks and Jennifer Hempstead, and Nephew Anthony Dixon.
