Kendra Elizabeth Ennis, of San Diego, California,
passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her beloved cats.
Born on October 10, 1977, Kendra had an admiration for animals that guided her career. In high school, she was training horses and went on to also show them. Upon graduating Castle Park High School in 1995, Kendra spent over 25 years in the veterinary field as a vet tech. She was known for her passion for the job and her love for cats, especially her fur babies:
Keely, Pandora, Persephone, Calliope, and Artemis. Kendra’s other great passion in life was traveling. From Cabo San Lucas to New Orleans, Louisiana, to Alaska, Kendra loved to travel. One of her favorite places to sightsee was Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. It was one of the places where Kendra spread some of Keely’s ashes.
Forever a wild child at heart, Kendra also did enjoy the more quiet, everyday aspects of her life. To spend her days off with her three
babies and her loving boyfriend, James, brought her a great sense of peace and happiness.
Kendra is survived by her mother Kathleen Ennis, her only daughter Aislinn Ennis, and her brother Michael Ennis.
She is reunited in Heaven with her bunnies, Phineas and Fern, and her cats, Pandora and Keely.
Watch over and protect us , Mom.
