Joseph was born in Fremont, CA and lived in the surrounding areas for the majority of his life. As such, he was an avid San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan, something he would eventually pass down to his children. He was on the defensive line for football through college, playing for UNLV and making Las Vegas an integral part of his young adulthood. Eventually, he fell in love with his future wife without having never met her, and after months of exchanging letters from different countries, proposed. After marrying her in the Philippines, they returned to the States and had two children very soon after. Once the family he had always wanted was complete, he moved to San Diego and spent the rest of his life there. He worked most of his life as an independent contractor, having a passion for building houses and designing floorplans. Besides sports, he also dreamed of traveling and most frequently discussed visiting New York and New Orleans one day. On Friday, July 12, 2024, Joseph suffered a heart attack and was called to heaven sooner than any of us expected. He is survived by his wife of 28 years and his two adult children, a daughter Emiljoi and a son Joseph. We love him, and miss him dearly.
