John Thomas Posey

John Thomas Posey Jr. was born in Montgomery Alabama on April 1, 1945 to Sallie Jackson and John Posey Sr. He was the eldest of three Siblings. James Posey Kenny  Tucker and Songia Tucker.  In 1963 John joined the United States Navy and he met and married the love of his life Deloris, to this union two daughters were born, Shantrice L. Posey LaKesha F. Posey both of San Diego, Ca.  One Granddaughter, Elisha F. Posey-Brooks.  John was a very laid back kinda of guy he loved Barbeque and having fun.  John accepted Christ at an early age he attended Maggie Street Church with his father, he later joined Sweetwater assembly of God Church under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Frank Wooden.  Later he attended First Family Church under the leadership of Pastor Ezekiel  Rodriguez until his passing.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Posey Sr., His grandmother, Fannie Webster, his mother Sallie J. Tucker and his sister Songia Tucker who passed away last June 2020

He is survived by two brothers, James Posey (Loretta) and Kenny Tucker (Shirley) of Montgomery Alabama.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
