James Kenniston

James Kenniston was born on April 25, 1923 in San Diego, Ca. He was the last of 18 children.

James is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Loraine and Raul Posada; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Mia Kenniston, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

James was a decorated veteran of the Second World War.

A 30-year Mason of the San Diego Unity Lodge #632, he served as Tyler until retirement and maintained close friendships with both his fellow-Masons and friends involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization.

His partner in life, Anna, was the foundation of the family. James was the roof – constructed tile by tile as he built the family thriving today. James’ love, support, and endearing wit covered everyone with warmth. He gave his heart to his family for 3 years on his own, leaving this world to tell his stories and dance with Anna in the clouds. He will be greatly missed.
