A precious, beautiful soul departed this earthly home on October 11, 2020 bound for her heavenly home: a city not made with hands.
Born on December 12,1930 to Columbus Miles and Eliza Nolden in Foreman, Arkansas; Hazel moved to Texacan,Texas until the age of twelve. The family moved to San Diego, California where she attended the public school system. Hazel met & married Everett Little on May 3, 1947. To this union were born Larry E. Little, Phillip J. Little, Everett A. Little, and their daughter, Judy M. Little.
Mother Little received Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 1955 and later joined Greater Jackson Memorial Church of God in Christ. She served on the deaconess board and nurses unit. Mother Little worshiped at Evangelist Temple leading in the role of church mother. She spent several years at New Greater St. James in Walterboro, South Carolina as an active member of the body of Christ. New Life Gospel Center, pastored by John & Paula Cannon, was her final church home. The body of Christ made up Mother Little’s extended family. They genuinely cherished her fidelity, uprightness, and example as a devout woman of God.
For many years, she was employed as a nurse aid and caregiver which afforded her the opportunity to follow her passion for helping others.
She lived a sanctified life walking daily in the grace of God. Consequently, her legacy of selflessness, service, and virtuousness shine as beacon set high on a hill.
