Felicisimo E. Tanja

"Felicisimo Evangelista Tanja, 73, left us on March 21, 2020, with his family by his side in San Diego, California. "
Felicisimo was born on October 21, 1946 in Camiling, Tarlac Philippines to Juan and Eugenia Tanja. He joined the US Navy in
1967 and retired after 20+ years of service. He also worked 20+ years in civil service for the Navy. With his efforts and
his belief of 'God, Family, Country' he trailblazed his families path to American citizenship.
Felicisimo is survived by his wife Macrina, sons John and Ron, and grandson Jonathan. He enjoyed building projects, gardening,
and spending time with his family.
A funeral service is scheduled from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at California Cremation and Burial on Monday, April 20, 2020.  The
burial is scheduled the next day at Mira Mar National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. All family and friends are welcome
to come, but, with the California lockdown and cdc guidelines, the viewing will be limited to 10 people at a time in the
funeral home and the burial will only consist of 10 immediate family members. We will try our best to let everyone say there
final goodbyes and also abide by the current lockdown restrictions.
