Evangeline B. Rabena

Evangeline Barlolong Rabena passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on the morning of March 31, 2026, at the age of 83.

 She was born on May 1, 1942, in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, to Susana and Eusebio Barlolong. She was the fifth of seven children.

Evangeline earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baguio Tech, beginning a life rooted in care, dedication, and service to others.

She is survived by her younger sister, Claring L. Barlolong; her loving husband, Theodore R. Rabena; her three children, Elizabeth B. Rabena, Ronald B. Rabena, and Evelyn R. Navarro; her beloved grandchildren, Moxie Isabela Bautista, Ashley Vanessa Rabena Navarro, Hannah Reneé Rabena, Naomi Grace Rabena, Veda Elise Bautista, Dahlia Violet Navarro, and Camille Victoria Navarro; and her children-in-law, Rodolfo Bautista, Jeffrey Navarro, and Lisa Rabena.

Evangeline will be remembered for her beautiful garden, her warm greetings to neighbors during her daily walks, her enjoyment of casino trips, her generosity, and her unwavering devotion to her family—both near and far, including those in her homeland.

She was loved by many and will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
