Erlinda H. Greene, beloved wife, mother, and devoted caregiver, passed away at the age of 86 10/09/2025, after a life marked by faith, compassion, and service. Born on February 27, 1939, in Quezon City, Philippines, Erlinda was one of six siblings and spent her early years surrounded by family and tradition.
Erlinda dedicated many years of service to the Subic Naval Base in Olongapo, where her work ethic and kind spirit touched the lives of many. In 1985, she immigrated to the United States, building a meaningful and long-standing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. For over two decades, she provided care and solace to countless individuals and families with unwavering dedication and empathy.
She married James Greene, her loving husband and companion. Erlinda was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tess, and cherished her close-knit family. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and nurturing her generous heart.
Erlinda found fulfillment in life’s simple joys—cooking Filipino cuisine, watching beloved television soaps, singing, and exploring places such as Las Vegas, New York, and San Francisco. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, boundless generosity, and genuine warmth.
Erlinda is survived by Tess,Ed,Robin,Mylyn and Jaden, and her siblings Ben and Virginia. She is also fondly remembered by numerous family members: Hipol family, Ramos family and friends Dolly and Nemie whose lives she graced with kindness and joy.
