"Eirven Green Sr., 85, passed away on July 4th, 2024. Eirven was born on January 13th, 1939, to the late Willie and Alvie B. Green in Natchitoches, LA. The family would later relocate from Louisiana and make their home in San Diego, CA.  After graduating from Kearney High School, Eirven enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he received an honorable discharge. He went on to marry the late Mary L. McPhatter-Green and to that union three children were born: Eirven Jr, John Lee, and Mary Tyreena Green. Eirven, always ready with a smile and an infectious laugh, enjoyed all things sports especially golf. Eirven is survived his wife Bettye J. Olds-Green, his 3 children, 5 bonus children, 5 grandchildren, great grandchildren, 3 brothers and a host of family and friends.
