Edric Amador Doringo
Edric was born July 20th, 1970 at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego. He lived in San Diego for most of his life with parents Ricardo and Edith Bernardita and siblings Berric and Riby.
He attended Bell Middle School and graduated from Morse High School in 1988. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Civil Engineering August 1995 and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering May 1999.
He started working for the City of San Diego in 1994 as a student engineer. He became an Assistant Engineer in 1997, then became an Associate Civil Engineer in 2000, was promoted to Senior Civil Engineer in 2014, then became Program Manager. In 2018, he was promoted to Deputy Director.
Despite having a demanding career, he was a family man with many talents and interests. He practiced the Martial Arts of Aikido and Jeet Kune Do. He loved to cook for his family. He loved working on the garden. He enjoyed video games, comics and anime. He loved music and played guitar. He loved to travel. He attended church every Sunday and was one the ushers for several years.
He is survived by his wife Elainie, his sons Rodric and Dominic and his daughters Jacqueline and Julianne.
