Delicia “Dely” Toledo Delino, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Cavite, Dely carried with her the warmth, resilience, and strong family values of her homeland throughout her life.
Dely was a hardworking and devoted woman who spent many years providing for her family through honest work. She worked in the NEX warehouse, the Bumble Bee tuna factory, been a nurse’s aide, and was a licensed beautician, always approaching every job with dedication, humility, and strength. Her work ethic and perseverance were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Above all, Dely’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Emmy Barcelon, Ramon and Adora Sabio, Roger and Gloria Sabio, Julius and Wiki Delino of Sacramento, Anselmo and Cindy Delino, Joseph Delino of Virginia Beach, and Daniel Delino. She loved being the grandma, Lola, Ney to her 11 grandkids, 21 great grandkids, and 1 great great grandkid. She cherished every moment spent with her children and extended family, and her love for them was constant and unwavering.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Delino, who passed in 2014. Though reunited now, the love they shared remains a lasting example to their family.
As our family’s matriarch, Dely will be remembered for her kindness, strength, generosity, and the sacrifices she made to give her family a better life. Her laughter, caring heart, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Whether she was nurturing her plants or offering her unfiltered wisdom, her resolute personality made her the unforgettable heart of our family. She leaves behind a legacy as fierce and vibrant as the garden and house she tended.
Her memory will live in all our hearts forever.
