Deandre J. Bryant was born on a blessed day, June 27, 2978, in Chicago, Illinois to Sandra Bryant. When he was two years old, Eugene Lowe became his father figure. Deandre was given the nickname "Pete" from his grandparents Sylvester and Rebecca Bryant (both preceded him in death).
Deandre was the fourth grandchild born of twenty-two grandchildren. He was a "Big Cousin" to all of his cousins, the real "Cousin Pete". Deandre loved his family so much that those were his last words spoken, "tell my family I love them."
Deandre attended Fernwood Elementary School. After graduating he started his journey into manhood. He lived in Kankakee, IL, Jacksonville, FL before finally moving to San Diego, CA in 2006. He was most comfortable in El Cajon. He had a group of friends who understood him and loved being around. The close friends referred to his as "Chicago" while all the ladies called him their "Lovable-Gentle Giant." The Gentle-Giant made sure that they were protected and safe. On that tragic day, one of his lady friends was with him until the end.
