Bertha Mae Miller

Bertha Mae Miller born October 17, 1929 in Massillon Ohio was 1 of 9 children born to Emma and Edward Kirkland (Debose) Bertha was a small town girl with big city dreams. She moved to Los Angeles with her 2 sons in her late 20's, got married and created an amazing life for herself and her children. Her work in the domestic services and hospitality industry immersed her in the presence of many of Hollywood's most prestigious stars and entertainers. Some of her favorite pass-time activities included family and friend , trips back to Ohio, Country Music, a strategic game of Old Maid, Shrimp, corn okra and tomatoes cornbread and greens. She asended to heaven after 91yrs 6 months 4 days 12hours and 50mins. 

Bertha leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter April Mahoney son-in-law Albert E. Mahoney Jr. daughter -in-law Dawn Jones siblings Willa Brown & Richard Kirkland nieces and nephews 9 grandchildren Latoya, Chanel, Michael, Dwayne, Michelle, Allison, Chay, Christian, Oshay 8 Great Grandchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren with 2 sons preceding her in death Jesse Kirkland and Larry Kirkland
