Benjamin Xzavier Phillips

Benjamin Xzavier Phillips was born in San Diego CA on July 3 1983 to his parents Maxine Victoria Phillips and Benny Murl Green. Benjamin attended several schools in the San Diego school district, including Freese and Fulton Elementary, Keiller Middle School and Morse High School. At a very young age we discovered that Ben had a natural ear for music, he later took music classes in school and learned how to read and write music. Ben, since childhood had the biggest crush on Alicia Keys and intended to meet her someday and write a song for her!
Benjamin had a gentle, soft spoken way of reaching out and touching people. He is loved and respected by many and will forever be remembered and dearly missed!
Ben was called home December 19 2019. He is survived by his loving mother Maxine Phillips and his father Benny Green, sisters Jacqueline Phillips Ceronnia Green Mariyah Phillips Johneen Phillips, brother Benjonlonne Green, nieces Kailani Turner, Seriyah Phillips, nephews Darnell Green, Javon Johnson as well as a host of aunts uncles cousins family and friends.
