Barbara A. Parkins

Barbara was born in Ada, Oklahoma on March 6, 1943. She passed away in National City, California on May 6, 2022.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Corene Reyes, Jack Parkins, Sandra Rodriquez, Henry Parkins,  Mimo Parkins and Lisa Childers, and by her sister Nina Aranda. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband JL Parkins, her parents Louis Phillips and Corene Bagby, her brothers Jimmy Phillips and James Phillips, her sisters Betty Pearce and Rosalie Hansen, and her granddaughter Sarah Parkins.

Barbara was  kind and generous to all who knew her. In addition to being a loving mother,  grandmother and great grandmother, she worked many years as a nursing assistant and care provider.

We will all greatly miss her sense of humor, her warm smile, the twinkle in her eyes, and her loving heart.
