Andre' Eugene Evans

Dear Family, Friends, and Loved Ones, 

With heavy hearts, we share that Andre’ Eugene Evans, 50, transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday,
January 25, 2025.

Born on September 13,1974, to Delores and Gene Evans at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Andre’dedicated his life to service, faith, and family. After graduating from Wichita Southeast High School, he earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and later obtained a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Colorado Theological Seminary. He was the founding pastor of The Mission Church in San Diego and an anointed pastor who loved teaching, and ministry-based mentoring.

He was an enthusiastic coach, an avid sports fan, a passionate author, founder of AEE Ministries and co-founder of S2 Mediaworks. Andre’ served faithfully as the Executive Pastor of Bayview Baptist Church and was a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Andre’ is survived by his wife, Sharonda Evans; his daughters, Daniella, Karrin, and Khouri, 
and their mother, Katina Evans; his bonus children, Kherington and Jayda; his parents, Delores and Gene Evans; his sister, Anitra N. Lawson; and his nephew, Malachi Lawson.

In accordance with his wishes, Andre will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread in a 
place of peace in his beloved state of Kansas. 
There will be no formal memorial service.
