Alexis Donaldson Obituary

Alexis Ayeiska Donaldson was born on September 28, 1995 at Gorgas Hospital in Panama City, Panama. She was the eldest of three children to Luis Antonio Donaldson and La Tonya Elexa Lee- Donaldson.  Alexis accepted Christ at a young age. Alexis graduated from East Lake High School and from San Diego State University (SDSU) in   2018, with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics. Alexis was an adventurous, optimistic young woman, who   never allowed her disease to define her or her life goals.  During both high school and college, Alexis played La Crosse and Field Hockey. Alexis aspired to one day start her own internet business. She treasured her family and friends, and they were very important to her.  She loved reading and was the literary editor at SDSU and aspired to one day be a writer.  One of her greatest joys was watching movies and she was a genuine movie buff.  Alexis had a passion for travel and loved making travel arrangements and exploring some of the worlds many wonders (New York, Panama and Catalina Island).  One of her favorite past times was couponing.  She was a Master at identifying coupon deals and utilizing them to her greatest advantage.  At one time, she even worked for a major retail corporation as a product evaluator.   The death of her brother, Kadir, in July 2015, greatly affected Alexis, especially since at the   same time she was experiencing her own health struggles.  Through it all, she maintained a bond of caring and love for her brother, even minimizing her own health struggle.  She deeply loved both of her siblings and the special bond she and Kadir shared, thru illness, only made them closer.   On, Thursday, October 29, 2020, Alexis was called home.  She will be forever in the hearts and lives of all who loved her and all she touched with her vibrant spirit.  We will cherish the memories we   have shared with her for the rest of our lives.  She will truly be missed!
