Alejandro "Alex" Jaimes, born on August 26, 1979, in the city of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, left this world on June 15, 2025, at the age of 45. A beloved resident of San Diego, California, Alex was a man whose heart was as expansive as his love for his family.
Alex's life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures and the profound love he held for those closest to him. Married to his soulmate Christy since January 16, 2002, their union was a cornerstone of his life, filled with countless adventures, from camping under the stars to quiet evenings at home. Alex’s dedication to his family was unwavering. He was a hardworking man who took immense pride in providing for his wife, their three sons, and his cherished grandson. Whether it was a family game night or a spontaneous road trip, Alex found happiness in every moment spent with his loved ones.
He leaves behind a family who adored him deeply: his loving wife Christy; his sons Tino, Alejandro, and Omar; his mother, Sara Solis; his brother, Guillermo; his sister, Cristina; and his brother, Israel. Each of them carries a piece of Alex’s spirit in their hearts, a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.
A celebration of Alex's life will take place on June 26th, 2025, at 11:00 am at 5880 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, CA 92115. Following the service, Alex will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm at 3751 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92102. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived and a man who will forever be remembered for his warmth and generosity.
In closing, we find comfort in the words of those who knew him best: "I will always hold on to you Mi Vida," writes Christy, his devoted wife. "Thank you for being the best father, I love you," shares Tino, reflecting the gratitude of a son. "I love and miss you Compa," says his Jr, Alejandro, capturing the camaraderie they shared. "I love you Pa," adds Omar, echoing the deep affection and bond between father and son.
Alex, you may have left this earth, but your spirit and the love you gave will remain with us forever.
