Thomas A Pressley

Thomas Pressley, Sr. was a very kind, gentle, respectful, and soft spoken man that held true to his word.   He believed everyone had good in their hearts and deserved a chance.  He loved his family, the Air Force, western movies, country music, walking at a fast pace, riding his 10 speed bike, drinking ripple, and fishing until his heart was content, especially with his two sons Tommy and Cappy.  He also loved spending time on the water with his grandchildren and his two best friends James Wright and Greg Foster.  Pop’s was and still is a loyal man, never turning his back on anyone, especially his family, friends, and long time career of 49 ½ years with Sharp Reese Stealy Medical Group.  “Big Tommy”… “The Captain”… “The Fisherman” our Father and your friend stayed close to the water at all times.  He enjoyed long walks on the bay and Liberty Station with his buddy Peanut right with him.  Pops lived a great life, a life of many stories and adventures.  We will all reminisce for many years to come from all that was a part of his life, and those that may have only heard stories of him.  Pop’s is resting in peace and wants you all to smile, be happy, show the good in your hearts¸ and rejoice in his going home celebration.

                Thomas as preceded in death by Father (William A. Pressley), mother (Isabelle L. Pressley), brother (Harry A. Pressley).  He is survived by son’s Tommy (Tara), Caprece (Donnelle), and daughter Sabrina (Eric) Bishop. 11 grandchildren Tory, Olivia, Alexis, Stephanie, Brieanne, Mylan, Caprece Jr., Isaiah, Celestial, Trinity, and Charlotte.  Siblings Big Bill, Dorothy, Lois, Amy (all from San Diego), Dolven (Emporia, Kansas)¸and a many nieces and nephews.  Closest friends James Wright, Greg Foster, and Trish Jones.
