Sylvianita Britnay D'colar Widman was born June 28, 1991, to proud parents , Regina L. Lilliard and Jameria l J . Widman, in San Diego, California . Sylvianita , also known as Moo-Moo to family and Nita B to friends , accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized. As a youth, Sylvianita became a member of Logan Temple AME Zion Church, where she participa ted in the youth and adult choirs , praise dance team, and volunteered countless time to other events and activities as needed.
Sylvianita attended Nubia Leadership Academy, La Presa Middle School, Mount Miguel High School, Morse High School, and completed her requirements to obtain her diploma at ECC. While in school Sylvianita discovered her passion for music art and dance. She was an active member of MADA, where she danced and sang at different events across San Diego. Sylvianita enjoyed dancing and would often form dance groups while choreographing routines and was known to s ing and rap from time to time. Sylvianita had two daughters , Aariya (2013) and Aari'Anna (2016), they were both precious in her eyes . Sylvianita had a huge heart and a kind spirit to ma tch her radiant smile. She adored spending time with her family during the holidays and looked forward to a big bowl of gumbo. She was quick to help a friend or troubled youth in need by offering them a place to s tay a long with guidance and advice. Sylvianita
was affectionately referred by these youth as a mother/big sister. Her untimely death was on Saturday, August 25, 2018.
Sylvianita leaves her two daughters Aariya Lee Jones and Aari'Anna Hea lani Evans ; mother Regina L. Lilliard; fa ther Jamerial J . Widman; brother Jay J . Widman; sister Jackie Widman; grandmother Sylvianita Butler; aunts Andrea Ivey, Kathy Williams (Roy), and Valerie Kendrick (Michae l); uncles Michael Pratt and Lawrence Wells (Ce lina); godparents Tyrone Bates and Daralyn Brazley-Baker; nieces , nephews , many cous ins near and far and a hos t of friends who loved her dearly.
