She graduated from Lindblom Tech High School, class of 1967
After 26-years of service retired from AT&T/Pacific Bell
Enjoyed yearly birthday adventures to Las Vegas with twin sister Alfreda & (late spouse) Leon Rogers Sr., and her husband, Sidney.
She was a long-time member of Saint Rita’s Church in southeast San Diego.

Devoted many years of service to the Catholic church
Ensured the spiritual enrichment and belief of her husband and sons to the Lord our God

Cornerstone of a strong and faithful household during her husband’s military career.
Team mom for both of her sons’ athletic teams for many years
Created a welcoming home and cared for community kids, ensuring they had a safe place to be.  It’s been said by her sons’ friends that they considered her an ideal mother.  At different times she opened her home to various youths, not only sheltering and feeding their bodies, but also their minds and souls.  She provided moral guidance, spiritual enrichment, and assurance that they would always have her support.
