Leopoldo Carpio

Leopoldo Paragas Carpio, born August 21, 1941 in Manila Philippines went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in San Diego, CA
He was a loving father, brother and friend. He is survived by his five children and three siblings. His five children are Marietta Rivera, Aliza Carpio, Almira Carpio, Lane Fess and Lee Carpio, respectively. His parents were Eusebia Paragas Carpio and Placido Carpio.  His surviving siblings are Remedios, Ricardo and Melwida.  He also has three grandchildren, Armando Rivera, Luisa Rivera and Kole Martin. He graduated from University of the Philippines Diliman,  Quezon City in 1962 with a Bachelors in Sociology. He worked years in sales: pharmaceutical and insurance and lived in many states: Virginia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas and finally San Diego, CA. In his retirement years, Pol truly enjoyed the role of Director of the Samahan Senior Center.  There he found his community and danced, sang and celebrated.
Pol will be laid to rest in San Diego and the service to celebrate his life will be held at California Cremation and Burial on November 10, 2018, 10 am to 12pm. A short reception will follow. His family invites his friends in remembering and celebrating the love for Leopoldo Carpio.
