Larry Jackson Obituary

               Larry Jackson was born in Hayti Heights Missouri, December 22nd 1964. He attended Carver high school and graduated in 1983. Larry later joined the United States Navy where he served 4 years and was relocated to San Diego, CA where he met his soulmate Toni L Harriel-Jackson of 34 years  and his step-daughter Tonika L Hall with this union came Larry M Jackson.

Larry went on to pursue a career with Day & Zimmerman Inc (Defense Support Services Military Sealift Command World wide Logistics in February 1988. Larry started at the bottom and worked his way up to the number two position as  Site Manager (BATS) Balboa Avenue Transshipment Site. Larry worked for Bats for 25 years, before becoming medicaly retired.

               Larry accepted Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at an early age.

               Larry was known for his grilling, dominoes, and basketball skills. He coached several basketball teams throughout San Diego County, which was one of his passions.  Larry loved to spend time with his family and friends. Larry was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend  and coworker.

               As of Thursday November 15, 2018 Larry was called home.  He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Armstrong and his step-father Willie Armstrong, Sr., grandmother Lottie Mae Jackson, grandfather Birdell Jackson, step-daughter Tonika L Hall.

               He is survived by his wife Toni L Harriel-Jackson, son Larry M Jackson, four brothers Anthony Jackson, Willie F Armstrong wife, Dr. Dometrives Armstrong DNP, Dwayne L Armstrong, wife Lolita Armstrong, Antonio Armstrong wife Denise Armstrong, two sisters Cora Lee Jackson, Tisha Armstong, three surviving Aunts Rosa Davis, Clara Jackson, Ora Armstrong, and four surviving uncles Henry Jackson, Ernest Armstrong, Harold Armstrong, and Kenneth Lloyd, mother-in-law Rosemary Lewis, father-in-law Adam Lewis and a host of  extended family members and friends.
