Julia passed away suddenly and on June 25, 2019 at only 45 years old. Her proudest joy in life were her two daughters Kayla and Hailey.
Julia graduated from Patrick Henry High School and studied at Grossmont Community College. Julia loved music and loved to sing. Among her proudest accomplishments that she spoke of throughout her adult life was being selected as a member of the Honor Choir representing Patrick Henry High, then being invited to sing at San Diego’s Copley Symphony Hall and at Disneyland’s Christmas Celebration that was moderated by the legendary actor James Earl Jones. Julia Michelle received her names from the songs “Julia” and “Michelle” that were written and performed by singers/songwriters John Lennon and Paul McCartney of the Beatles.
Julia had spent much of her life caring for family and friends who were ill, troubled or simply in need of someone to listen or lean on. She was there for them. She made herself available. Many times it was to her detriment or inconvenience, but that didn’t stop her from offering to help. She gave of herself that was who she was and how she lived much of her life. That fact is evident by the outpouring of responses by those who knew her, loved her and had their lives touched by her
