Eufemia Canaria Pizarro

Eufemia “Eming” Canaria Pizarro, age 88, went to be with the lord on Jan 3, 2019 at UC San Diego Health La Jolla  after Kidney Failure & Septic Shock. She was on born May 3, 1930 in the Philippines. Her parents were Miguel Canaria & Pacita Acuña. She was the second oldest of 5 children.

She got married on April 29, 1950 to Elpidio Pizarro in the Philippines and had 8 children. She is survived by 3 daughters & 3 sons: Fely, Mercedes, Myrna, Jose “Delfin”, Mauro & Gener. 12 grandchildren: Kathryn, Ivy Joyce, Jennifer, Melissa, Jonathan, Joshua, Jeremy, Mary, Mary Ann, Mercedes, Janella & Jallene. 1 great grandchild, Reyna Grace.

Eufemia worked very hard as a mother, grandmother, and housewife who was busy all the time. She moved to San Diego, California on March 15, 1986. She was an avid fan of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
