Emma Tiglao

Emma Potapa Tiglao, 68 years old, from San Diego went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 6, 2019. 

Born February 6, 1950 in the Philippines, daughter of Romeo and Eliza G. During her youth, she traveled the world with her ex-husband who is an Air Force veteran.   She worked many years in the galley on various Naval bases.  She enjoyed coming to work serving others and seeing close co-workers whom she called her friends.  She enjoyed helping those in need and always thought about others.  In her spare time, she loved to go fishing and taking walks on the many San Diego piers.  When not fishing, she would enjoy her time at the thrift shops in Coronado to find collectibles.

Emma was preceded in death by her father Romeo, mother Eliza, brother Ben, and spouse Orlando Tiglao.  She is survived by her three children, Chris, Elisa, and Jeff.  Four grandchildren, Simon, Megan, Brandon, and Matthew. Her ex-husband, nieces, nephews, cousins, and very dear loving siblings, and friends. 

The viewing/celebration of life will be held on January 13, 2019 at 10am at the California Burial Chapel, Highland Avenue, National City, Ca 91950.  The burial will be on January 14, 2018 at 12pm at Mount Hope, 3751 Market Street, San Diego, Ca 92102.
