Connie Malone

Connie Grena Malone was born on June 6, 1959 to Mildred Malone and Robert Payne Malone.  She departed this life on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Connie Malone attended San Diego High School and San Diego City College. She was a Caregiver for Home Health.

At an early age she joined the Mount Carmel Missionary Progressive Baptist Church in San Diego, California, where after was baptized by the later Dr. R. C. Williams, Sr.  Connie Malone served as Youth President and spiritually, financially, and faithfully served in other areas at the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.

Connie Malone had a tremendous love for the Lord and she remained active in church work with various churches, including Community of Praise Baptist Church, Greater Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Greater Fellowship Baptist Church, Greater Johnson Baptist Church, and the Progressive Baptist Association until her home going.

She served as Mission President, Pastor’s Aide President, Program Chairperson, Pastor’ Anniversary Chairperson, Fundraising Coordinator, and member of the Nurses’ Auxiliary.  Connie Malone proved she was a sincere and devoted member for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her only son, Lee Brooks II, her mother, Mildred Malone, three brothers, Larry (Faye), Dennis P. Malone, and Robert A. Malone., nieces
