Bryce Bussell was born July 24, 1996 to Brandy and Michele Bussell at UCSD hospital. Bryce attended Mueller Charter School for elementary and middle school, where he was a reigning chess champion. He also participated in Cross Country. Bryce attended High Tech High International in Point Loma, and San Diego Mesa College where he would eventually become an engineer. He traveled across the pond to Europe in high school, and had the opportunity to fly a Cessna plane at Gillespie Field through the EEA Young Eagles program when he was 18. He also spent his years volunteering Toys for Joy.
Bryce danced to the beat of his own drum. He was sometimes stubborn and strong-willed, which was both a benefit and a distraction, but contributed to what made him to be, who we all loved. He had a zest for life and music. He was always friendly, and would give teachers a run for their money. (LOL) Bryce was humorous and enjoyed making people laugh. Those that he truly loved and respected he allowed into the sacred place of his heart where you could see the kindness and gentleness of his spirit.
